SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO THE IRWINS - For those of you that have not had the fun and privilege of watching “The Crocodile Hunter” on TV, it is an outstanding series. Steve and Terri Irwin’s intense love of wildlife and their concern for their natural habitats has spread far and wide. Their television programs and their live shows at the Australia Zoo, demonstrates how two people can really make a difference in saving our wildlife and our environment. Through meetings, telephone conversations, and emails, I have found that there are an untold number of young people around the world that have decided to make wildlife rehabilitation their life’s work due to the efforts of the Irwins. I myself am one of them. Thanks for pointing so many of us in the right direction. Katherine Newberry Deal, Webmaster |
